SAP Cloud ALM Solution Architect (Activate / Greenfield)

Exciting opportunity with a Leading Global Cloud & IT Services MNC to join a high-impact European enterprise engagement as SAP Cloud ALM Solution Architect (Activate / Greenfield). In this role, you will be part of a global consulting team driving digital transformation, system enhancements, and end-to-end implementation across complex SAP landscapes.

- Lead end-to-end configuration, design, and implementation of SAP C-ALM modules in enterprise environments. - Work closely with business process owners, functional leads, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions. - Prepare functional specification documents (FSDs), conduct testing (UT/SIT/UAT), and manage cutover/go-live support. - Provide L2/L3 production support, resolve complex incidents, and execute system change requests as per client SLAs.

- Cloud ALM Strategy Governance - Define and implement the **Cloud ALM strategy** aligned with SAP Activate methodology for a global Greenfield S/4HANA program - Establish ALM governance standards for **requirements, processes, testing, defects, deployments, and operations** - Act as the single point of accountability for Cloud ALM adoption across regions and workstreams **Toolchain Experience Integration** - Work across the ALM toolchain, including SAP Cloud ALM and integrated enterprise tools (e.g., LeanIX, Signavio, Jira, ServiceNow, test management tools, document management systems) - Maintain end-to-end traceability across the ALM toolchain, covering business scope, process design, requirements, development, testing, defects, and transport/deployment activities - Design and implement integration and data synchronization between SAP Cloud ALM and other enterprise tools - Experience with at least 2–3 of the following: - Signavio (process modeling) - LeanIX (architecture / capability mapping) - Test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, Tricentis, or similar) - Document management systems (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, or similar) - Jira / ServiceNow - Understanding of cross-tool traceability and lifecycle data flow ### - SAP Cloud ALM Configuration Enablement - Configure SAP Cloud ALM for: - Business process hierarchy and solution documentation - Requirements and user story management - Test planning, execution, and defect management - Task and deployment tracking - Integration monitoring and business process monitoring - Enable **Fit-to-Standard workshops** using SAP Best Practices and Cloud ALM content - Set up project scope, milestones, and dashboards for global rollouts ### - Traceability Management - Ensure **end-to-end traceability** from business requirements to: - Processes - Configuration - Test cases - Defects - Transports and releases - Support global business and IT teams in requirement elaboration and change impact analysis ### - Test Quality Management - Design and govern the **test strategy** using Cloud ALM (Unit, SIT, UAT, Regression) - Coordinate test cycles across multiple regions and time zones - Provide quality KPIs, test coverage, defect trends, and readiness dashboards to program leadership ### - Release, Deployment Cutover Support - Support release planning and deployment tracking using Cloud ALM - Integrate Cloud ALM with **SAP Transport Management** and CI/CD pipelines where applicable - Support cutover planning and execution monitoring ### - Integration Operations Readiness - Configure and manage: - Integration exception monitoring - Business process monitoring - Job automation monitoring - Support transition from project to **Run / Hypercare** phase - Enable operational KPIs and alerts for steady-state operations ### - Stakeholder Vendor Management - Act as Cloud ALM SME for: - Program Management Office (PMO) - System Integrator(s) - SAP - Regional business leads - Coach and upskill project teams on Cloud ALM best practices - Ensure consistent ALM usage across global teams ## Required Skills Experience ### SAP ALM Expertise - 7–10+ years of SAP implementation experience - 3+ years hands-on experience with **SAP Cloud ALM** (preferred) or SAP Solution Manager (with Cloud ALM transition exposure) - Strong understanding of **SAP Activate methodology** - Experience in **S/4HANA Greenfield global implementations** ### Functional Technical Knowledge - SAP S/4HANA core process understanding (Finance, Logistics, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, etc.) - Experience with SAP Best Practices content - Familiarity with: - Test automation tools (e.g., Tricentis, CBTA, or similar) - Integration technologies (SAP BTP, CPI) - Transport and release management concepts ### Soft Skills - Strong stakeholder management in global, multi-vendor environments - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work across time zones and cultures - Proactive, structured, and quality-focused mindset ## Nice to Have - SAP Cloud ALM certification - Experience with large-scale rollouts (multi-country, multi-template) - Exposure to DevOps / CI-CD concepts in SAP landscapes - Prior role as ALM Lead or Test/Quality Lead - Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering, MCA, Commerce, MBA, or Certified SAP Professional
