SAP QM Functional Consultant (Quality Management)

Exciting opportunity with a Leading Global Cloud & IT Services MNC to join a high-impact European enterprise engagement as SAP QM Functional Consultant (Quality Management). In this role, you will be part of a global consulting team driving digital transformation, system enhancements, and end-to-end implementation across complex SAP landscapes. We are seeking an experienced SAP Quality Management (QM) Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP QM solutions across manufacturing and supply chain environments

- Lead end-to-end configuration, design, and implementation of SAP QM modules in enterprise environments. - Work closely with business process owners, functional leads, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions. - Prepare functional specification documents (FSDs), conduct testing (UT/SIT/UAT), and manage cutover/go-live support. - Provide L2/L3 production support, resolve complex incidents, and execute system change requests as per client SLAs.

- The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, configure SAP QM processes, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules including PP, MM, SD, PM, and EWM - Experience in S/4HANA implementations, support, rollouts, and enhancements is preferred - Configure and support SAP QM functionalities including: - Quality Planning - Quality Inspection - Quality Notifications - Quality Certificates - Defect Recording - Vendor Quality Management - Configure and maintain: - Inspection Plans - Master Inspection Characteristics (MICs) - Sampling Procedures & Schemes - Selected Sets and Catalogs - Quality Notifications - Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes. - Work on batch management, batch determination, classification, and traceability processes. - Ensure integration of SAP QM with PP, MM, SD, PM, EWM, and Warehouse processes. - Perform Fit-Gap Analysis and prepare Functional Specifications. - Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, and Go-Live support. - Work closely with ABAP teams for developments, enhancements, reports, and interfaces. - Provide incident management, production support, and issue resolution within SLA timelines. - Develop training materials, SOPs, business process documentation, and user manuals. - Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions. - Participate in implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects. - Functional Skills - Strong experience in SAP QM configuration and support. - Expertise in: - Inspection Types - Inspection Lots - Quality Notifications - Quality Certificates - Defect Management - Results Recording - Usage Decisions - Experience with: - Inspection Plans - Sampling Procedures - Selected Sets - Catalog Profiles - Quality Info Records - Knowledge of Batch Management and Traceability. - Understanding of manufacturing and quality processes. - Good communication - SAP Integration Knowledge - SAP PP (Production Planning) - SAP MM (Materials Management) - SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) - SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) - SAP EWM/WM (preferred) - SAP S4 Exposure - Technical Exposure - Functional Specifications (FS) - RICEF Objects - Enhancements and Reports - Interface Testing - SAP Solution Manager / ALM - Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering, MCA, Commerce, MBA, or Certified SAP Professional
